City of Ottawa Update: Key Messages

As the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to develop, we would like to thank everyone for continuing to practice physical distancing as well as for supporting your friends, family, and neighbours during this unprecedented period. Walking through the neighbourhood to smiles, waves, signs, and much more is exactly how we remain connected, display our resilience, and stay positive.

To help keep you informed and updated, the City of Ottawa and Councillor Kavanaugh have shared the City of Ottawa’s Key Messages document (PDF, March 26) which contains information on many city services such as closures to parks, promoting local businesses, volunteering, your taxes, etc.

To stay informed, we recommend referencing content from trusted sources such as Ottawa Public Health, the Ontario Ministry of Health and the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Save the date: Crime & Safety Infonight

Back in October, through our survey and AGM feedback, you helped establish one of our common priorities – crime and safety.

Now we’re asking QTN residents to save January 14th at 6:30PM for a Crime & Safety Infonight at the Olde Forge Community Resource Centre. We have been working with Councillor Kavanagh and her team and are happy to confirm that Constable Kostuch will be in attendance.

More details to follow.
