Public Meeting on Lincoln Fields Redevelopment and the new City Official Plan

Redevelopment of the Lincoln Fields mall and area around the mall from Carling to Richmond will have significant impacts for residents of QTN.   You can learn more at a public meeting on March 6 (click for more information).  The QTN planning committee will be actively engaged throughout the planning process to ensure QTN residents are informed and have an avenue to voice community concerns.

QTN residents, you’re invited to the Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre’s 26th Annual Winter Garden Party this Sunday! Please see below for a message from the centre’s team.


Our 26th Annual Winter Garden Party is taking place on February 17th from 11:30 – 2 pm (our FREE community event) at the Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre in Britannia Park/Beach.

Year after year this family centered event brings people together to enjoy an afternoon of various indoor and outdoor activities. We will have a bouncy castle, popcorn and cotton candy, face painting, a horse-drawn sleigh ride, Rays Reptiles, a performance from the Ottawa Pop Shop All Stars and more!

Admission and parking is Free and the bus #16 Britannia stops right outside our doors.

Reminder: Carnival this Sunday & we want your feedback on what makes QTN unique!

We are looking forward to seeing you this weekend at the QTNca’s Winter Carnival! The weather looks good and the horses are ready. There will be games for everyone whether you come with your boots, skates, or sled.

Bring your toonies if you would like to enjoy maple taffy, popcorn, or a hot dog. Don’t let the cold scare you off, there will be hot chocolate, coffee, and a fire to roast marshmallows!

Additionally, the recently established planning committee and a City of Ottawa planner will be seeking your input on what makes QTN unique to ensure that future developments enhance the character of our neighbourhood.
