Severn Avenue Public School is seeking a Community Representative

Please see below for a message from the School Council at Severn Avenue Public School:

Severn Avenue Public School is seeking a Community Representative to join our School Council. In this role, you would build partnerships between the school and community and promote school initiatives within the community.

We’re looking for someone who currently doesn’t have a child at the school (although if you do, you’re welcome to join us as a Parent Rep!). We meet on the third Tuesday of most months at 6:30pm in the school library.

If you’re interested in this role, we look forward to hearing from you at severnschoolcouncil@gmail.com

Thank you for your consideration!

Getting to Where You Want to Go Safely

Getting to the new LRT stations should be easy. When more people live here, safe streets and traffic congestion will need more attention. That is why two plans going to City Council in 2023 are important for QTN. This is one of the issues to be discussed on October 12.

Better connections to places residents want to go; safe crossings of Carling and Pinecrest Avenues; more sidewalks in QTN, and bike lanes are some of the priorities that QTNca wants to see in new plans for Lincoln Fields on the north side of QTN and Pinecrest/Queensway, which includes QTN and the areas south of QTN.

Join your neighbors to discuss the future of QTN and meet the three Bay Ward candidates for City Council. October 12. 7 pm. Britannia United Church, 985 Pinecrest Road.
