Community Garage Sale – Saturday September 8
The QTN Community Association has had several requests to organize an end-of-summer community yard sale. It’s a tight turn around but the most popular date with the Facebook group seems to be September 8th (rain date on the 9th). We will post signs again and publish some online ads. We will be looking for your feedback to see if a late summer/early fall community yard sale works better than the spring sales, where we are competing with several other neighbourhoods.
Save the Date: Annual General Meeting – October 10
The Annual General Meeting is coming up on October 10th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The meeting will take place at Severn Public School. The agenda is being finalized, but we will review some of the achievements this year, and have elections for the Board. We are also hoping to have one or more of the Bay Ward candidates for City Council appear to meet residents and answer some questions. We are always looking for volunteers to join the Board, think about signing up!
