Reminder: Carnival this Sunday & we want your feedback on what makes QTN unique!

We are looking forward to seeing you this weekend at the QTNca’s Winter Carnival! The weather looks good and the horses are ready. There will be games for everyone whether you come with your boots, skates, or sled.

Bring your toonies if you would like to enjoy maple taffy, popcorn, or a hot dog. Don’t let the cold scare you off, there will be hot chocolate, coffee, and a fire to roast marshmallows!

Additionally, the recently established planning committee and a City of Ottawa planner will be seeking your input on what makes QTN unique to ensure that future developments enhance the character of our neighbourhood.

Maison de la Francophonie: CEPEO Update 2019-01

As previously mentioned, the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO) will be providing regular updates on the Maison de la Francophonie Project (Grant School Redevelopment). Here is this month’s update as well as the presentation given to residents earlier this month:

Community Discussion: Construction at Maison de la francophonie d’Ottawa

  • Date: Tuesday, January 8 at 7:30 PM
  • Location: Olde Forge Community Resource Centre

Representatives from CEPEO (French school board), City of Ottawa (Forestry Officials), Councilor Kavanagh, and others will attend to share information on the project and discuss concerns with QTN residents.
