The Granite Curling Club, which is moving to QTN from Westboro, is extending an invitation to the community to join their membership. Please see below for more information and contact details:

Hello Queensview Neighbours!

The Granite Curling Club has started work in your neighbourhood to build a new curling club at 2740 Queensview Drive. We hope it will be ready for the 2023-24 curling season.

We are preparing for our 2022-23 season—we anticipate that it will be our last—at 2026 Scott Street in Westboro. And there is still have room for new members! If you are interested in getting an early start at a great club coming near you, please get in touch with our Manager, Denise, at 613 722-1843 or visit us at our “Meet and Greet” on Wed. Sept 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

There are still some spaces left, especially for weekend and evening curlers. Day Ladies is still looking for members too. And we have Rookies Rocks on Sunday evenings (7 pm) or Monday mornings (9 am) for adults who want to learn the game.

Pinecrest Queensview Secondary Plan – Virtual Open House (June 21 @ 7:30 PM)

Huge news! The Pinecrest Queensview Secondary Plan Open House is this Tuesday, June 21 at 7:30 pm.

This Secondary Plan creates the rules for development and future connectivity. This means: height of buildings, connection paths to LRT, sidewalks, bike infrastructure.

Attend this meeting and you’ll learn all about the City’s plan for our neighbourhood, and you’ll also get a chance to give feedback.

Do you want to be able to quickly access Queensview Dr from QTN? Do you want a vibrant Queensview that’s pleasant to visit? Do you want Queensview to be a place with sidewalks, bike lanes, and trees – and thriving businesses? How tall should condo or apartment towers be on Queensview? Do you have safety concerns about walking or biking on Pinecrest Road to access LRT?
